The Financial Independence Forecast is based on projections of the returns you can reasonably expect from a recommended portfolio over your lifetime based on your risk tolerance. We project that you will live much longer than the average person of your current age to keep projections conservative and give you the peace of mind of knowing you have planned prudently to avoid running out of money in your senior years. We base investment return projections on the historic real (after-inflation) annual returns of asset classes over the past 80 years. You thus have a realistic long-term plan. The recommended portfolio is optimized with the aim of maximizing returns with the least risk possible. In a separate meeting the recommended portfolio is implemented, which likely requires adjustments to your current portfolio in the most tax-efficient manner possible.
